Are you missing comments?
I have noticed a lot of blogs have embedded comment boxes. Unfortunately you will not receive everybody's comments this way. I had the same problem here on my own blog and was advised to use a "Pop Out Comment Box"
So do check your settings if you think you are missing out on comments, it may be wise to change your setting.

Designs By Ryn 'Selini' with Distress Inks and Adirondack Embossing Powders.

Morning all ... busy day today, so just a very quick post to share another beautiful stamp design from Designs by Ryn with you.

I'll be back later and update this post with some more details about my tag ... that means you may have to comment TWICE... see, I know how to do this blogging lark!

See you later ... have a good morning.
Okay ... I'm back after a busy morning answering phone calls and opening cards and presents... yes! It's my birthday today!

Back to the tag as promised....
The background was coloured with various Distress Inks, then I lightly sprayed a plastic stencil / mask with water and placed it on the tag
I left it a few minutes then dried the Tag with a heat gun after removing the mask. It leaves a super patten.

Using Versamark Ink, I stamped the Kelp Image from Designs by Ryn  and heat embossed using Cranberry and Egg Plant Adirondack Embossing Powders ... If you haven't tried these embossing powders you must! They are fabulous... Super  colours and textures!
Selini the Moth, also from Ryn, was stamped twice onto some white card stock and cut out. One of the images was coloured with distress markers and the other was left as black and white and both were attached to the bottom of the Tag ... that's it, all done.
See you soon.
Chinese meal and Champagne tonight... rock 'n roll!
Thank you for looking at my blog today.

Distress Inks and Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 Stamps.

Hi everyone ... another quick post to share this Tag that I made yesterday, during my visit to The Allhallows Crop.
I used the negative shape from a Nestabilities Circle as a mask and blended various Distress inks through the aperture of the mask.

It was then very easy to stamp the 'Eye' over the top of each coloured circle and add the text along the side.

Just two stamps from the Wendy Vecchi Studio 490 range that I purchased last year on my visit to Ally Pally ... off there again soon ..... can't wait
Will I buy more stamps? .... Might do!
Have good Sunday... I've just finished watching the Malaysian Grand Prix .... fantastic action!

Distress Inks and Designs By Ryn 'Sea Bubbles' Stamps

Morning all. Some parts of the UK are having the most terrible weather. We are so lucky here, in the South-east, above freezing with just rain at the moment.
My thoughts go especially to all those who have to work in these awful conditions, also the farm animals and wildlife that are having to cope with the snow. I'll be filling up my bird feeders. Please put out some food for them if you can. X

This card is another using the brilliant stamps from Designs By Ryn.
Ryn is a very talented young designer and many of us (thousands I bet!) have bought her famous Water Droplet Stamp!
White Linen card stock from the Papermill Direct, Faded Jeans, Mustard Seed ( just a touch) and Mowed Lawn Distress inks.
The 'Sea Bubbles' image was stamped using Onyx Black Versafine ink and the Sizzix Butterflies were coloured with various colours of distress inks, plus a few dabs with a white Uni-Posca pen.
It's a quick and easy card, why not have a go at this one!

Many thanks for the comments and support for my blog and also the overwhelming interest in my Workshops ... they are almost fully booked until the Autumn! I'm looking forward to meeting and making new crafty friendsIt's the Allhallows Crop today so I'm out to play. Stay warm, have a good weekend.
Happy crafting

Hello everyone.. Until an hour or so ago I was feeling very good about my weekend.
A smashing day at my PanPastel Workshop yesterday with all my crafty pals and F1 racing on the telly this morning.
Then..... headache, sneezing and no energy to do anything but watch TV and feel sorry for myself.
So... the pictures of all the projects that my ladies made yesterday will be uploaded onto my blog tomorrow.
The sample Tags and card posted here, are the projects I made for the workshop.
Metal stencils, plastic masks and stencils along with PanPastels and  some stamping ... The Flower card, with the circles, was based on a card I saw on this wonderful PanPastels Tutorial. ( I did not use the Versamark on my card.... just the Pans) Fabulous work please pop over and have a look .

Sweet Poppy Stencils

Yo ho blogging pals.. a very quick post this morning as I'm so busy getting everything together to take along to my PanPastel Workshop class tomorrow.
It's always great fun to meet new crafty mates and to catch up with any news from my 'here we are again...all together crew!'
Chris, one of my lovely ladies, gave me the Black Velvet Material that I've used for this card. Chris has been playing with Sweet Poppy Stencils  too, see here!

A Sweet Poppy Stencil 'Fantasy Willow' designed by Tracey Dutton from Lavinia Stamps, white glossy embossing paste, and some crystal glitter, that was sprinkled on after removing the stencil.
I left it alone to dry before tapping off the excess glitter.
The card  has much more sparkle in 'real life' .. but hubby spent hours trying to get me a good 'shot' of it and this is the best one.
Fuchsia Stencil.
I made the 'Fuchsia' card some time ago ... using the same technique.
I'll be back soon with my Workshop Samples for tomorrows class.
Thank you for your interest in my blog, for making the time to look and for the super comments and emails ... all appreciated very much.

Sweet Poppy Stencil, Lavinia Stamps and PanPastels..

Morning bloggers.. bit wet here today, but I'm looking forward to a super Saturday as I'm expecting a visit from my best crafty pal Karen.
Karen introduced me to paper crafting so I owe her a great deal, it's because of her that I have NO MONEY!

Let me tell you about this Tag. It's a sample that I've made for my PanPastel Workshop Class next Saturday.

PanPastel background, blending Bright Yellow Green and Dark Yellow Green together then using a Nestabilities Circle die cut, both the negative and positive shapes, create a sun with Diarylide Yellow and Permanent Red PanPastels.

The Sweet Poppy Fairy Castle  was put into position and stencilled with Versamark ink and a small soft sponge
Leaving the Stencil in place I added colour and shading from Magenta and Violet PanPastels.
Wash and dry the stencil as soon as it's removed then stamp your tag with various colours of Versafine inks and Lavinia Stamps... job done!
More designs to make today .. good fun.
I hope you have a great weekend.
Thanks for popping by my blog today

Tim Holtz Alterations # Tattered Floral Die Cuts... made into Stamps !

Morning bloggers... me again with post number two for today. My Twinchies post is below this one!

I so enjoyed making this project....It's an 8" x 10" canvas, painted with Gesso and a pale green acrylic paint for the background, then using the Tim Holtz Tattered Floral die, I made some STAMPS!

The flowers were cut using thin foam then I mounted the foam die cut onto my acrylic block and stamped using various colours of ACRYLIC PAINT ... I will buy some Distress Paints at Ally Pally in April because I first saw this project on the brilliant blog of Paula's and she created her canvas using them .... amazing.
Please go and look at the TUTORIAL she has put on her blog. I also have to credit Paula for the design of my project ... I just loved it and learnt a lot.. so it's all good!

Thank you for popping by my blog today ... back soon.
Have a good week.

Lavinia Stamps Challenge #1

Hi ho crafty friends. This card is my DT Sample for the NEW LAVINIA STAMPS challenge  that starts today.
You could win a Voucher worth £40 to spend in the Lavinia Stamps web shop.
The challenge will have a new theme each month and this month the theme is 'Anything Goes'. It started this morning so you have loads of time to get an entry in.

My card was created using the 'emboss around the edge' technique that I first saw here on Helen's wonderful blog.
Such a fabulous technique, where the image, the beautiful Green Goddess, is stamped with Stazon ink, various colours of Dylusions spray inks applied over the top, dried with a heat gun, then she was painted with bleach.

I embossed around the edge with a Sizzix Embossing Folder and then highlighted the raised embossed edge with some gold, rub on wax
Thank you for popping by my blog today and also for the lovely comments you leave for me, here on my blog and by email.
