Sarn's Limited Edition Stamps - Sarntangles # Take Two!

Hello everyone, me again! still playing with a BRAND NEW set of glorious stamps that I've bought from my friend Sarn
SARN Designed these little beauties called  SARNTANGLES  they are a limited edition so be quick! I'll be posting a few some samples during next week ... I'm having a great time.

I used a few Circle Dies, the negative shapes, and inked through them for my background with distress inks. I stamped the SARNTANGLES stamp with Archival Black Ink, then stamped again onto some white card-stock. I decoupaged the main 'Leaf like' images, leaving them white for contrast and added some inky 'flicks' with a paint brush, along with some 'white drops' from Rangers White Enamel .
All layered onto Hexagon shape card stock, cut from a Lifestyle Crafts  Hexagon die (Oyster Stamps). Another job done. Back soon with some more!
I'm on a roll now Sarn ....

Sarn's Limited Edition Stamps - Beautiful Designs!

SARN Designed these little beauties called  SARNTANGLES  they are a limited edition so be quick! I'll be posting a few some samples, more today and during next week ... I'm having a great time.

This card is so quick to do. I used a few Circle Dies, the negative shapes, and inked through them for my background with distress inks. I stamped the SARNTANGLES stamp with Archival Black Ink, then stamped again onto some white card-stock. I decoupaged the main flower image, leaving it white for contrast and finally added some Finnabair Glitter Glass to the middle.  Mat and layered onto a circle card base... job done.

Stampscape Stamps and Distress Inks

Morning all, last Tuesday I went to a workshop over in Maidstone, at  J & C Creations. The workshop was hosted by a very talented lady, Sally Newick.  I created the art work you see here, using just TWO Stampscape Stamps (available at J& C Creations) and Distress Inks.

Sally has another class over in Maidstone soon, so I cannot tell you more, except to say that the images took less than 5 minutes to position and stamp. The real SECRET to success, is in the colouring with the Distress inks. Sally explains it all step by step and it took over two hours! I loved it and so did the rest of the class. I'll be going back!

I'm going to remount my Art Work, put it into a frame and hang it on my wall.
Thanks for looking today. Eileen xxx

A layer of Paperclay, Block Wallah Stamps, MDF Hearts and ..... A Brayer!

Hello all you Bloggers. This week is flying past again. So a quick post today to show you a technique I found here, on the Paperartsy Blog. I have adapted it a little to accommodate the products I have to hand.

I only have Treasure Gold Wax, so I used that for my 'highlights' along with some fantastic new Wooden Stamps, Block Wallah Stamps from Oyster Stamps and MDF Hearts, also from Oyster Stamps. The beautiful  Block Wallah Stamps create such a deep impression into the Paperclay layer, which was applied to the MDF Hearts with my Speedball Brayer. Easy stuff!

Will I be using this technique and these stamps again?
Too right I will ...  Such fun!
Thanks for looking today.
